GREAT FOOD FOR A GREAT CAUSE
The Taste of Elegance is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, which provides multi-year college scholarships to impoverished students who overcame significant adversity in order to graduate from high school. Proceeds from "The Taste" will fund college scholarships for these students.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE TASTE OF ELEGANCE?
In a "taste of " format, guests will be treated to menu samples of over a dozen fine dining restaurants, from iconic favorites to trendy hotspots. Here is the chance to try out all the restaurants that you always wondered about or be reminded of the tried and true favorites.
New to the 2012 Taste is the Decadent Desserts Bar which showcases speciality desserts. Pace yourself during dinner because you'll want to save room for dessert.
To add to the evening's excitement, there will be live and silent auctions offering great values on a wide range of items, from vacations to jewelry to sports packages. Items will be previewed on this site before the event so be sure to check back.
Guests will all receive "goodie bags" stuffed with coupons, gift cards, and other surprises.
Come meet the Hendrick Scholarship students and hear about their inspiring stories of perseverance.
